Sakura Watch, April 17-18, 2012 - Still time to view Sakura this week

Sakura Watch, April 17-18, 2012 - Still time to view Sakura this week! The Sakura // Cherry Blossoms are still showing about 75-85% of their blooms throughout the park. Is it too late to see the Sakura // Cherry Blossoms? Will they last until this weekend? Next week will likely be too late - see some of the latest photos from the 17-18th:

The weather seems calm enough for most of the week until the rain starts on Friday and through the weekend - by Sunday I will estimate that the blossoms will lose much of their blooms and get down to the 50% or even less by then. Also, it should be noted that more and more leaves are beginning to grow in every day. Eventually, the leaves will replace all the blossoms and is another good indicator of how quickly the blooms will start to fall.

So if you want to see them before they're gone, now is the time!
